Business Continuity Manager

At China CITIC Bank International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President/ Vice President, Business Continuity and Incident Management. This role will be responsible for managing the Bank-wide Business Continuity Management (BCM) process and ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and guidelines, as well as local regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- BCM Process Management: Oversee the effective implementation of the BCM programme within the Bank, providing assurance, oversight, and challenge over the risk and control activities conducted by Businesses and Functions.
- Contingency Planning: Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Contingency Risk with a clear understanding of relevant operational requirements and policy, providing advice and guidance to Businesses/Functions in respect of business continuity plans and arrangements across the Bank.
- Incident Management: Lead Major Incident Management activities across the Bank, facilitating the response to local live incidents, and strengthening the Bank's business recovery capabilities by leading and coordinating the evaluation of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), design of Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and related strategies.
- BCP Test Planning: Set up and drive BCP test plans, conducting post-test evaluation to identify improvement opportunities for respective BUSU BIA and BCP, and facilitate with BUSU in conducting mandated and ad hoc activities in Business Continuity Planning.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare business continuity management reports for management and regulator, and lead and conduct periodic BCP drills to ensure timely, continuous, and balanced implementation of relevant controls.
- Education: University graduate in Business Administration, Operational Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in business continuity management, operational risk, or related work experience with working knowledge of the Bank's key functional processes.
- Skills: Sound knowledge of HK regulatory requirements related to Operational Risk / Operational Resilience, knowledge in business continuity planning or operational risk management, and good understanding of banking operations and processes.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-oriented, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and able to work with people of different levels.
