We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Informa Markets in Asia. As an Overseas Sales Executive, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the China region and driving sales growth globally.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the China region and internationally.
  • You will oversee the organization and execution of Food Ingredients Global shows and Vitafoods Europe.
  • You will provide excellent customer service and collect sales data for all assigned trade shows.
  • You will develop and implement strategies to generate revenue through booth sales, digital sales, sponsorship/advertisement, and fully integrated packages for both new and existing customers.
What You Need
  • A University Bachelor's Degree from any discipline.
  • 1-2 years of sales or business development experience.
  • You should be digitally savvy, open-minded, and have strong resilience.
  • You should have experience in managing relationships with international customers across various regions and cultures.
  • You should be able to negotiate effectively and proactively handle and respond to customer objections.
  • You should have strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Experience with MS Office & Salesforce CRM is desirable.
  • You should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Ongoing travel may be required.
