AIA Seeks Experienced IT Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Service Delivery Director to join our team at AIA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have expertise in delivering technology direction and solutions within a business domain.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions for business needs, aligned with our technology strategy and methodology. They will also be expected to architect multi-platform solutions using technologies like Azure, own issue resolutions, lead and participate in troubleshooting of IT Applications and IT Infrastructure related incidents and issues, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) over Networking, Infrastructure, and Applications, maintain adherence to Group governance processes, engage and lead stakeholders to ensure system stability, security, and enhancements are delivered within agreed timeframes, maintain accountability, and provide guidance to Business As Usual (BAU) tasks and projects involving the IT environment, constantly seek ways to improve processes, systems, and cost optimization, and maintain a strategic plan for the country's IT environment in collaboration with the Regional IT Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical solutions for business needs, aligned with technology strategy and methodology
  • Architect multi-platform solutions using technologies like Azure
  • Own issue resolutions and lead troubleshooting of IT Applications and IT Infrastructure related incidents and issues
  • Act as a SME over Networking, Infrastructure, and Applications
  • Maintain adherence to Group governance processes
  • Engage and lead stakeholders to ensure system stability, security, and enhancements are delivered within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain accountability and provide guidance to BAU tasks and projects involving the IT environment
  • Constantly seek ways to improve processes, systems, and cost optimization
  • Maintain a strategic plan for the country's IT environment in collaboration with the Regional IT Team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of hands-on design and implementation experience in data platform design, business intelligence, data visualization, data lake, data warehouse, ETL solutions, and big data platforms. You will also need to have comprehensive knowledge of the IT industry, including Hardware, Software, Network & Infrastructure, and Telecommunications, as well as proven expertise in Project Management, Planning, and Business Analysis. Additionally, you should have exceptional Leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, and excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
