Transformative Leadership Role

At HSBC, we're seeking a seasoned professional to drive strategic alignment and technological innovation across our global businesses. As a Strategy Delivery Director, you'll be responsible for spearheading the development of GO&A technology strategies, translating them into actionable roadmaps, and ensuring seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align the GO&A Technology roadmap with HSBC's strategic objectives, driving business value and transformation.
  • Facilitate the creation of GO&A technology strategies, translate them into actions, and monitor performance.
  • Support the development of investment strategies across innovation and transformation initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure GO&A technology strategic roadmaps meet business needs.
  • Prioritize and manage the GO&A budget to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives and objectives.
  • Implement Value Stream Enablers mobilization, standardizing design and rollout of a new Operating Model.
  • Ensure alignment of the Technology roadmap with agreed Outcome OKRs, organization design, location strategy, process optimization, and technology governance.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of strategic transformation offices and their mechanics.
  • Knowledge of tollgates and governance management.
  • Experience in aligning strategic planning with business needs and requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills to set strategic vision and drive delivery.
  • Ability to adopt consultancy and business analysis frameworks in strategy definition and operating model definition areas.
  • Experience in transformation methodology for transformation oversight and delivery.
  • Strong written communication skills to generate communication for executive-level audiences.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation skills to drive delivery.
  • Strategic thinking for navigating complex challenges.

Functional Knowledge:

  • Expert understanding of products, services, and underlying processes for Value Streams.
  • Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps or SCALE Agile processes.
  • Ability to champion customer needs in strategic and tactical decision-making scenarios.
  • Ability to apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
  • Detailed understanding of multiple business areas and technology domains.
