About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced Regional HR Director to cover Greater China, helping the organization scale its operations. This role reports directly to the Global Head of HR and oversees a team of 4-5 HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's rapid growth and evolving business goals in collaboration with the Global Head of HR.
  • Develop tailored HR policies, procedures, and initiatives for offices in Greater China and key Southeast Asian markets.
  • Oversight of the full talent lifecycle, including attracting, hiring top talent, performance management, and employee development programs.
  • Manage employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive work culture to retain staff.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across the region, streamlining HR operations.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • 10-12+ years of HR experience, building and scaling the function in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on experience developing HR strategies and programs from scratch in startup settings.
  • Excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations across Greater China and/or APAC.
  • Prior experience recruiting and relocating candidates from China to Hong Kong.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin / Putonghua).

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
