This role is ideal for a seasoned HR expert who has experience building and scaling the HR function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Your excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations across Greater China and/or APAC is crucial for this position.
Job Responsibilities- Report directly to the Global Head of HR and lead a team of 4-5 HR professionals within the Greater China region.
- Craft and execute HR strategies that support the company's rapid growth and evolving business goals.
- Develop tailored HR policies, procedures, and initiatives for our offices in Greater China and 1-2 key Southeast Asian markets.
- Oversee the full talent lifecycle, from attracting and hiring top talent to designing effective performance management and employee development programs.
- Manage employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive work culture to retain our best people.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations across the region.
- Streamline HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and record-keeping.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing data-driven HR insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- 10-12+ years of HR experience with a proven track record of building and scaling the HR function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Hands-on experience developing HR strategies and programs from the ground up in a startup setting.
- Prior experience recruiting and relocating candidates from China to Hong Kong.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin / Putonghua).
This role offers a competitive salary range of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
