Key Business Operations Support

Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our Country/Territory Director, ensuring the effective management of key relationships and efficient delivery of the Directorate's responsibilities.
Job Description- Support the Country/Territory Director: Provide direct assistance to the Director in managing the country/territory operation, ensuring effective governance as per British Council standards.
- Schedule Meetings: Coordinate meetings of the Country/Territory Leadership Team (CLT) and Incident Management Team (IMT), ensuring maximum participation and timely scheduling.
- Maintain Governance Records: Ensure accurate records of actions, progress updates, and CLT O365 Teams site maintenance.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Logistics Support: Take the lead on organizing large-scale online and in-country/territory meetings, as well as programs for internal/external senior visitors and new members of staff.
- Coordinate Visit Programs: Plan visit programs that reflect the quality and impact of our work.
- Briefing and Logistics: Coordinate briefing and logistics for visits, including hotel bookings and meeting arrangements.
2. Staff Engagement and Well-being: Coordinate invitations and logistics for All Staff meetings and other staff engagement activities, supporting the well-being of the team.
- Organize Staff Events: Coordinate staff events, including All Staff meetings and other engagement activities.
- Liaise with Embassy: Liaise with the Embassy for HMA's engagement with us and British Council participation in FCDO activities.
3. Calendar Management and Administrative Support: Coordinate the Country/Territory Director's calendar, travel, and other administrative tasks, ensuring good records management and effective interaction with stakeholders.
- Manage Director's Calendar: Coordinate the Director's calendar, ensuring timely scheduling and follow-up actions.
- Accompany Director: Accompany the Director to meetings, providing cultural insight and language support as required.
4. Financial and Procurement Support: Assist the Director in managing specific budgets, monitor budget lines in SAP, and provide support for finance and procurement processes.
- Monitor Budgets: Monitor Country/Territory Director Function budget lines in SAP.
- Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders as requested by the Director, in line with corporate standards.
