Hermès Fragrance & Beauty Sales Delegate

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Delegate for Hermès Fragrance & Beauty. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets in the perfumes and cosmetics industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement yearly business strategies with Area Managers, including monthly follow-ups on sales, sell-out, rankings, stock levels, and product performances.
  • Monitor and report retail sales on a monthly basis, prepare promotional reports, and analyze global competition performance for Area Managers.
  • Identify and propose growth levers proactively.
  • Prepare shop openings and refits to ensure alignment with global strategy.
  • Coordinate promotional activities at point-of-sale (POS) and implement actions decided by Area Managers.
  • Adapt assortment, merchandising, and visual merchandising to align with global strategy.
  • Implement and assist in building the 360° activation plan (key commercial periods, new launches, etc.).
  • Optimize business performance through the assortment file per door.
Order and Forecast Management:
  • Ensure timely listing of novelties among all operators through monthly order monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Business and Operations team to ensure efficient order processing and delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates to clients and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Assist in forecasting and regularly review invoicing versus forecasts and targets alongside Area Managers to meet budgetary goals.
Guaranteeing Hermès Image:
  • Integrate Hermès philosophy and apply Hermès retail strategy at POS.
  • Maintain consistency of brand image by updating merchandising according to Hermès guidelines and strategy.
Building Strong Relationships with Clients:
  • Maintain strong partnerships with clients, agencies, and field staff.
  • Support buyers during order placement to avoid out-of-stock situations.
  • Engage actively and proactively during sales and client meetings.
Implementing the Training Strategy of Hermès:
  • Identify needs and set up local trainings with retailers for Hermès Beauty Consultants, generic staff, promoters, etc.
  • Train and coach BCs, generic staff, and promoters at POS.
  • Prepare training events validated by Area Managers and the training department.
  • Enhance sales and service through field coaching.
  • Foster team spirit and skills at POS.
Reporting and Budget Management:
  • Serve as a liaison between regional offices and the field team.
  • Consolidate sales reports, competition information, trends, and opportunities, as well as BC activities.
  • Adjust travel plans based on priority areas (sell-out, promotion, ranking, etc.).
  • Organize and support Headquarter Office store visits together with the Commercial Executive.
  • Regularly review expenses budget for BCs, temporary promoters, decoration fees, rental fees for promotional sites, and manage and control travel budget defined by Area Managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in perfumes and cosmetics.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, good business acumen, strategic, and analytical mindset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Collaborative and can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in French or Chinese is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS office software, including Excel and PPT.
