Senior Relationship Manager

As a Senior Relationship Manager at DBS Bank, you will play a key role in cultivating long-standing relationships with corporate customers in the region. Corporate and Investment Banking provides a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange.
Broad Responsibilities- You will work alongside a team covering a portfolio of Fintech/Money Service Operator (MSO) clients and be expected to take ownership of the relevant client relationships as the Relationship Manager (RM), acting as the client's gateway to the DBS group and working towards achieving commercial targets such as revenue and Return on Equity (ROE) of the assigned portfolio.
- You will be responsive and ensure prompt resolution of clients' operational requirements, including ongoing operational and technical issues, at times in conjunction with other teams such as Payment Operations, GTS, and GFM.
- Collaboration with the Bank's various Product and Regional FIG teams is crucial to contribute to the origination, solutioning, and implementation of currency clearing, payables/receivables, and liquidity management products.
- You will coordinate different workstreams amongst the various teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of the solutions.
- The Compliance/FCSS approvals process for new clients, new fund flows for existing clients, and periodic Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) will require your attention.
- You will conduct regular Account Activity Reviews (AAR) on existing clients, surface risks internally where appropriate, and maintain regular dialogue with clients on their payment flows.
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end customer journey, including payment RFIs, is also essential.
- Familiarity with DBS Group's product proposition and developing business acumen/commercial intuition to make risk-reward tradeoffs that benefit DBS are necessary skills.
- You must demonstrate the bank's brand and PRIDE values, learn best practices, and assist in cross-border collaboration and coordination when required.
