Head of Business Development

- Lead a team to develop business in the areas of MICE and special events such as concerts and sports.
- Develop and implement strategies, plans, and actions to ensure the Business Development team meets sales and other KPI targets.
- Oversee booking arrangements to maximize booking efficiency and profit.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients and relevant parties.
- Continuously review the clients’ engagement process and sales operation process.
- Develop staff talents and foster a strong team culture that facilitates collaboration in business development.
- Act as a change agent in the change management process.
- Perform any ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Business or Marketing disciplines with demonstrated academic excellence; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of sales and business management experience, with at least 5 years in a direct supervisory role; less experience will be considered for the Deputy Director position.
- Solid and proven experience in live entertainment businesses, with extensive connections with event organizers, promoters, and production contractors. Knowledge of ticketing and admission systems is a plus.
- Strong in managing stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
