About the Role
In this role, you will support the Hong Kong Credit Sales team in maximizing and diversifying the team revenue. You will work closely with traders and syndicate to distribute credit products in both primary and secondary markets, thereby developing or deepening relationships with institutional investors based in Hong Kong.
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time
What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Work with different stakeholders (Traders, Debt Capital Markets, Syndicate, Structuring) to capture the best value-adding trades and revenue for the ANZ credit franchise.
- Support clients in providing daily trade quotation/execution, sharing market and product information and distributing research papers in a timely manner.
- Develop knowledge about financial products, market fundamentals/technical and investor base.
- Develop relationship with current and prospective clients.
- Assist the team in other non-revenue generating activities e.g. trade settlement, client onboarding.
- Understand the trade cycle and learn about the best practices in execution and interaction with clients/traders.
- Build connectivity within the organization, both within Front Office and with other stakeholders (FIG team, Middle Office, Client Services etc).
- Manage limit and compliance breach to the minimum.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in managing client relationships and working with credit products.
- Demonstrate basic product, market and client knowledge.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Be motivated to learn and take on responsibilities and challenges.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills and command of English/Chinese.
- Demonstrate the calibre to multi-task and work under pressure with precision in a trading floor environment.
- Proven ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships.
