Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Head of Insurance Partnership and Distribution to join our fast-growing insurance team

Responsibilities:

Partnership Development and Management

  1. Support the Business Head of Insurance in developing and executing a partnership strategy that aligns with Mox's business objectives and those of our insurance partners.
  2. Identify, source, evaluate, and pursue partnership opportunities to expand our portfolio of services, including establishing a selection framework and identifying strategic insurance partners.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related inquiries and advocate for Mox with local, regional, and global stakeholders in the insurance sector and within the bank.
  4. Facilitate key discussions with partners regarding commercial terms and models for deal assessment and completion.
  5. Lead steering committee meetings to ensure the delivery of business plans, identify optimization opportunities for partnerships, and resolve critical outstanding issues. Ensure effective decision-making, escalation, and governance of partnerships.
  6. Oversee daily operations with cross-functional teams, including partners' internal teams, to ensure successful collaboration. This includes managing portfolio mix, channel mix, product positioning, and delivery aligned with milestones.
  7. Establish a unified program for delivery and execution, working closely with partners to drive effective and efficient business performance.

Distribution and Performance Management

  1. Lead efforts to achieve product penetration and productivity for all insurance products.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define a scalable omnichannel strategy and leverage customer insight to drive product penetration and enhance channel/segment productivity.
  3. Ensure ongoing compliance with insurance regulations and maintain full compliance for distribution channels.
  4. Work with marketing, design, and data teams to drive campaign design, content creation, in-app analytics, and performance analysis.
  5. Establish a robust sales management framework that includes salesforce management, training, compensation, and performance evaluation.
  6. Develop comprehensive segmented customer journey maps, leveraging customer touchpoints within the Mox and partner digital ecosystems. Ensure optimal product pricing and portfolio mix for end customers.
  7. Define KPIs and conduct ongoing pre- and post-campaign analysis to monitor campaign performance.
  8. Actively track campaign expenses against approved budgets and marketing costs.
  9. Prepare presentation decks, board papers, management meeting materials, and strategic partnership documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or insurance.
  • 12+ years of experience in bancassurance transactions, partnership distribution, distribution proposition, business strategy, from the insurance sector.
  • Experience in retail banking and wealth management focus on bancassurance partnership strategy. Experience of mass market retail distribution models and channels. Knowledge of Hong Kong and Greater China insurance landscape.
  • IIQE or other equivalent is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin and English.
