About Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to maximize room sales revenue. This includes prospecting and building relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers.
  • Hotel Management System: Support the Hotel Management System and manage room booking situations and customer enquiries with ad-hoc duties.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote the hotel's room offerings. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials, participate in trade shows, and organize sales events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Provide personalized service and respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Prepare and negotiate room contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with clients. Ensure that all agreements are in line with the hotel's policies and profitability targets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, including room sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market analysis. Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase room occupancy and revenue.

Requirements:

  • A degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Hong Kong hospitality market and room sales channels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools (Opera, MS Office).
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding room sales targets.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
