Strategic Marketing Leader for Institutional Asset Management

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Marketing Leader to drive marketing strategies for our institutional business.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Asset Management Marketing team and contribute to the growth of our client base in Hong Kong and China.
- Develop and Oversee Marketing Strategies: Create and implement effective marketing plans to attract new and existing institutional clients, leveraging traditional media, social media, digital platforms, events, and partnerships.
- Campaign Execution: Strategize and implement campaigns across various channels to enhance our visibility among institutional clients, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor and report on the effectiveness, costs, and returns of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' actions and industry trends to enhance our marketing offerings and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Establish cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders, including Investments, Compliance, Product Marketing, and Marketing Delivery, to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.
- Communication Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications Team to identify and capitalize on external and internal publicity opportunities.
- Vendor Management: Supervise external vendors, including creative agencies, media planners, and event organizers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 8-12 years of marketing experience in asset management industry covering institutional clients;
- Proven track record in planning and executing campaigns across different marketing channels;
- Strong knowledge of HK and Mainland China markets, including client demographics and regulatory requirements;
- Good understanding of portfolio management and investment terms;
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
