We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager Asia Pacific-Messaging to join Raza Engage, the CPaaS venture of Raza Group of Companies. Our company offers top-notch messaging solutions to enterprises across the world, with a wide array of solutions such as SMS, RCS, WhatsApp Messaging, Viber Messaging, 2-way communication messages, and emails.

Raza Engage represents our CPaaS cloud-based delivery model that enables companies to embed additional communication features into their existing business.

The responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager Asia Pacific-Messaging include:

  1. Managing and building profitability with active messaging customers/suppliers in order to meet company targets.
  2. Actively working on new business development.
  3. Developing innovative and creative SMS trading strategies in order to secure unique selling points and sustainable revenue streams.
  4. Handling deadlines, understanding and managing contracts.
  5. Creating and maintaining valuable wholesale traffic swap deals.
  6. Evaluating and pricing new deals.
  7. Buying best-in-class termination rates in the fields of SMS.
  8. Identifying, verifying and using SS7 and SMPP routes.
  9. Negotiating SMS service contracts and SLAs working closely with legal.
  10. Acting as the point of contact between the customer and Raza Engage for all sales cycle purposes.
  11. Working closely with Routing, Finance, and Technical departments to enable smooth business operations.
  12. Providing support to other departments on different aspects such as business and financial matters.
  13. Monitoring performance of customers with respect to quality and costs, to meet company targets and objectives.

Your Experience:

  1. A university degree in business, marketing, economics, or similar domains.
  2. 5 years+ of proven Telecom Wholesale experience in Messaging: Exchanging traffic between carriers, finding opportunities, creating swap deals for revenue and margin.
  3. A wide industry network and expertise to identify valuable SMS partners.
  4. Experience on Horisen SMS platform preferred but not mandatory.
  5. In-depth knowledge of the A2P SMS market including SS7 understanding and utilization, market rates, market conduct, and procedures.
  6. Great communication skills, communicates effectively at every level.
  7. Excellent analytical skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  8. Solid grasp of English, both written and oral.
  9. Familiar with finance and accounting procedures.
  10. Team player, target-driven, self-motivated and works well under pressure.
  11. Hands-on, passionate, proactive, persistent, creative, and gets things done.
