We are currently seeking an Actuarial Intern to join our team in the Group Actuary function. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in actuarial activities, including pricing, valuation, marketing, investments, risk management, and modelling.
As an intern, you will work closely with experienced actuaries to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will be involved in various projects, including:
- Supporting Prophet model development and creating MS Macros for profit testing
- Providing support in product approval processes
- Performing analysis for business planning and interpreting experience study results
- Undertaking data consolidation and preparing management presentations
- Assisting on EV reporting, capital reporting, and IFRS parallel run
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good command of English, both written and spoken, and a strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Programming knowledge is an advantage.
The internship period is from June to December 2024. The estimated salary for this position is around $30,000 - $40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
