Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of product strategy, design, and leadership in creating new products and services that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Partner with C-suite executives and country product heads to deliver a common framework and build customer value propositions across the group.
  • Take ownership of customer propositions across all markets, prioritizing and delivering initiatives to achieve expected benefits and business outcomes.
  • Lead the definition of key strategic problems and identify practical solutions to resolve them constructively.
  • Lead and allocate work to multi-functional and global design and development teams to create new customer value and design world-class experiences.
  • Facilitate cross-country and cross-functional decisions on new customer propositions and value propositions.
  • Be a valuable partner to business units and functions to foster the development of needed capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of customer propositions.
  • Proactively manage the delivery of new customer propositions against expected benefits and business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous delivery of customer value aligned with FWD's overall vision and strategy.
  • Foster close stakeholder engagement and management across all initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in product ownership or product management in the start-up, technology, or financial services industry.
  • 7+ years of experience with mobile application offerings to customers.
  • 7+ years of delivery of Agile, Product Management, and Project Management (SCRUM, Product Management).
  • Certified Product Owner (Preferred PSM III level).

Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of financial services, insurance, transformation, project delivery, and commercial success in Asia.
  • Subject matter expertise in delivery of digital products and customer value in a multi-national environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing teams in the delivery of Agile transformation and change within a multi-national organization.
  • Extensive experience working with digital and technology solutions and partners.
  • Demonstrated exceptional people management and stakeholder management skills in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong communication skills and high-level sensitivity to audience to modify beliefs and opinions.
  • Ability to negotiate resistance to change to help Group and country teams deliver tangible results.
