Global Financial Institution Sales Intern

Join our team as a Sales Intern in the Global Financial Institution and take on a challenging role in the Corporate & Investment banking division.
As a Sales Intern, you will be responsible for supporting sales people in providing Tier 1 FIs with QIS, Structured Hedging, financing and Yield Enhancement Solutions and assisting in executing primary transactions (market intel, generation of marketing pitch, pricing, term sheet...)
You will interact daily with the Trading and Pricing/Structuring Teams (for pricing requests) and provide a high level of operational support to the sales (trades follow-up, documentation)
You will be the safe keeper of the internal rules (accurate documentation, risk limits...), in close coordination with the Sales COO
You will solve business or operational issues related to the products sold with the assistance of the IT teams, back-offices, middle-offices
You will analyze, investigate, research, manage and resolve various requests from clients related to products and documentation (legal and commercial)
You will ensure compliance with internal procedures and guidelines (Clients on-boarding, credit risk checks, product guidelines, margin policies, restructuring policies, etc..)
You will produce reliable reporting and ensure data management (including but not limited to, CRM and P&L data) used for management information production
Requirements
- Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Markets, Finance, Economics or similar
- Knowledge of financial market activities and mechanisms (greeks, pricing parameters, ...)
- Fluent English is mandatory
This is a 1-3 month full-time internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period
