Strategic Portfolio Manager for Transactional Banking Products

Hang Seng Bank Limited is committed to service excellence and seeks a high-calibre professional to join our department as Head of Portfolio Management and Payment.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate business strategies to accelerate growth in unsecured lending, domestic and international payment volume, product profitability, risk-adjusted returns, and market share.
- Drive the development of new product features, digital capabilities, sales channels, and innovations to strengthen loan-on-card, personal loans, and payment propositions, and enhance customer experience.
- Steer the design and development of customer-led loan origination and payment journeys and drive digitalization of transactions.
- Develop insight-led acquisition, usage, and retention strategies to grow and sustain relationships with strategic segments throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Risk on credit risk management, opportunities evaluation, and balance between risks taken and revenue generated.
- Lead partnership management and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, merchants, and partners within the payment ecosystem.
- Over 15 years of relevant experience in unsecured lending or payments and transactional banking products or similar product and service management within retail banking.
- Experience of product management, organizational leadership, and commercial management of transactional banking products.
- Strong technical knowledge of retail banking products and market/industry review for strategy formulation.
- Demonstrate change leadership, strategic focus, and strong Growth Mindset with passion to champion change and promote innovation.
- Strong customer-centricity focus to deliver market-leading products, services, and experiences to targeted customers.
- Highly effective navigation within a complex matrix environment, governance standards, and regulatory context with agile ways of working and strong engagement with different levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong track record in orchestrating and leading strategy development, business planning, and implementations across multiple business and functional stakeholders to successful completion.
- Seasoned people leadership to engage, motivate, and develop a diverse team; drive a strong performance culture with clear aligned direction; build a talent pipeline and business bench strength.
- Strong outcomes focus with adaptability, sound judgement, and business insights in decision making, and accountability in delivery.
- University degree in Investment, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
