Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Professional to join our recruiting team. As a key contributor to our growth, this individual will help identify and evaluate top candidates for portfolio manager, researcher, and software developer roles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal communication abilities, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.

  • Work closely with our talent acquisition team, candidates, and various groups across the firm to manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management teams to develop job specifications and skills requirements that support their research efforts.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment firms and establish connections with universities and student groups.
  • Assist in standardizing interview evaluation summaries and creating interview training materials.
  • Contribute to developing new strategies for sourcing and evaluating potential candidates.
  • Monitor the recruiting landscape to identify market trends and talented individuals.
  • Develop long-term relationships with a range of skilled professionals in the field.
  • Gather and outline objectives for each open position with the hiring manager to create accurate job descriptions, qualifications, and required skills; screen candidates; and formulate offers.
Requirements
  • An academic background in a quantitative discipline or a related field.
  • A BS or MS in finance, statistics, engineering, or computer science preferred, along with 3 years of work experience.
  • The ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to perceive nuance in verbal interactions.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
  • Non-English language skills (especially Mandarin) are valuable but not a requirement.
