This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships to drive growth in large-scale shopping malls and tourist complexes. The ideal candidate will have experience in partnership development, event marketing, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations for unique experiences, events, and activations to drive traffic and engagement.
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, and secure partnership agreements for temporary or seasonal activations, pop-up shops, and promotional events.
- Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including contract negotiation, scheduling, logistics, and post-activation analysis.
- Cultivate and expand the mall's network of casual leasing partners for short-term retail, food & beverage, and entertainment concepts.
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing, operations, and leasing teams to align on partnership opportunities, execution, and KPIs.
- Analyze performance data and generate reports to measure the success and impact of partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive activities, and new partnership models to identify innovative opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in partnership/business development, event marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of identifying, securing, and managing successful partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, presentation, and project management abilities.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique, engaging partnership concepts.
- Familiarity with the retail, hospitality, and/or entertainment industries.
The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
