Role SummaryThe Assistant Manager, Customer Propositions (Planning) will play a key role in establishing and maintaining effective risk management and controls within Personal Banking Products.
Main Responsibilities- Risk Management: Assess operational risks, review control procedures, and monitor programs to ensure adequate controls are in place in the First Line of Defense.
- Operational Risk Coordination: Coordinate with relevant business units to record and report operational risk issues and their corresponding management action plans.
- Governance Framework: Establish the governance framework for monitoring and oversight of operational risk issues by senior management.
- Control Monitoring: Take the lead in control monitoring and management, arrange regular reviews, and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure adherence to Group policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Quality Enhancement: Propose and implement quality enhancement and control strengthening initiatives in response to review findings, business initiatives, and Group policies updates.
- Operational Risk Awareness: Promote operational risk awareness among staff, including briefings and sharing of internal/external incidents.
- Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Experience: 3-5 years' relevant experience in banking, with exposure to risk control and relevant qualification.
- Skills: Sound knowledge of retail banking, products, and regulations; operational risk management; regulation compliance; good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Language: Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
