Job Overview

This role involves overseeing intricate claims and providing managerial assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage substantial and intricate liability and property claims. Actively participate in the organization of client presentations and the creation of presentation materials. Offer technical guidance to the team, focusing on process improvement and automation efforts. Conduct data analysis for commercial portfolios. Support the Claims Manager with managerial duties and various additional tasks. Ensure compliance with local regulations and governance standards throughout the claims process. Adhere to customer service protocols and service charters.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing liability and property claims, particularly with complex cases. Possession of recognized industry qualifications (e.g., Senior Associate of ANZIIF). Proven experience in handling liability and property claims. Strong customer service skills in claims management are essential. Proficient in written and spoken English. Data analytical skills are advantageous. Technical knowledge of relevant products and services. In-depth understanding of claims handling for liability and property insurance products. Familiarity with local laws and legal liabilities. Extensive experience in all key aspects of the claims adjustment process. Knowledge of industry standards and protocols. Understanding of claims agreements and policy interpretation. Candidates with less experience may be considered for alternative roles.
