**Job Summary**
As a Claims Operations Assistant at Sun Life, you will play a critical role in managing the daily claims operation and ensuring that claims are processed in accordance with our service standards, operational procedures, and guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Claims Manager in managing the daily claims operation and ensuring that claims are processed in accordance with our service standards, operational procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform claims adjudication, processing, checking, and approval according to claims authority.
- Handle enquiries and complaints from internal and external customers.
- Assist team members in handling and resolving complicated claim cases.
- Prepare and consolidate claims reports for management.
- Monitor shortfall payments from members.
- Undertake other projects and support business initiatives as assigned by management.
**Requirements**
- Higher Diploma or above with 2 years of solid claims experience.
- Professional qualifications such as FLMI/ICA are an advantage.
- In-depth understanding of claims practice.
- In-depth knowledge of group life and medical products.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Hands-on PC skills in using MS Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
