Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Assistant Vice President, Cross-border Relationship Management to join our team at The Bank of East Asia. As a key member of our cross-border team, you will be responsible for promoting retail banking and wealth management products to retail Cross Border customers, acquiring new Cross Border customers through sales and marketing activities, and identifying potential business opportunities for sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Retail Banking and Wealth Management Products

Develop and execute strategies to promote retail banking and wealth management products to retail Cross Border customers, ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing business acquisition.

Acquire New Cross Border Customers

Identify and acquire new Cross Border customers through sales and marketing activities, leveraging your expertise in retail banking and wealth management products to drive business growth.

Provide Differentiated Services

Deliver exceptional customer service, providing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of Cross Border customers, and enhancing the Bank's image through your professional expertise.

Establish Long-term Relationships

Build and maintain long-term relationships with Cross Border customers, fostering trust and loyalty through consistent and high-quality service.

Coordinate Promotions

Coordinate in-branch and off-site promotions to drive business growth and increase customer engagement.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

University graduates preferred, with a minimum of 4 years' banking experience providing financial services for retail customers.

Cross Border Experience

Experience in managing and growing cross border customer portfolios will be a definite advantage.

Retail Banking Knowledge

Sound knowledge in retail banking products & services and able to ensure excellent services are provided.

Selling Investment Products

Proven track record in selling investment products is highly preferable.

Licensing and Qualifications

Pass in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted/ Qualified Securities Dealer, and Passes in the MPF and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations.

Personal Qualities

Proactive, mature, independent, customer-focused, and pleasant, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Travel Requirements

Occasional business travel may be required.

Language Skills

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua is a must.
