Job Title: Assistant Vice President

China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President in Institutional Custody.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in custody services to manage client relationships and identify potential business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting custody services to institutional clients, managing client on-boarding and due diligence processes, and developing and reviewing policies and procedures to mitigate risks and improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote custody services to institutional clients and identify potential business opportunities
  • Manage client relationships and on-boarding processes
  • Develop and review policies and procedures to mitigate risks and improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality custody services
  • Maintain custody account relationships and provide after-sales service
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as assigned
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of solid experience in custody client on-boarding
  • Solid experience and knowledge on SWIFT and custody operations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and independent
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
