Job Description

The Senior Manager of Institutional Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire and retain institutional clients. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Acquisition and Revenue Generation:
    • Identify and cultivate prospects to acquire new customers and increase revenue aligned with the company's business plan.
    • Manage all aspects of customer acquisition, including pipeline management, scoping, pitching, and onboarding.
    • Lead business meetings and close sales to institutional investors, meeting customer acquisition and desk revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Ongoing management of key customer relationships, including account management, key account planning, and seeking opportunities for mutually beneficial interactions.
    • Leverage existing relationships with institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive contact initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Strategic Alignment:
    • Work seamlessly with other departments, including Onboarding, Compliance, and Marketing, to improve customer acquisition and onboarding.
    • Implement strategies to encourage revenue generation from institutional clients, including cross-selling and up-selling mechanisms.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, preferably with a background in front office sales/relationship management.
  • Minimum 3 years of digital sales experience in leading firms.
  • Demonstrated history of growing and managing a customer franchise.
  • Strong relationships with institutional investors and intermediaries, preferably with allocations into digital assets.
  • Understanding of regulated institutions' requirements.
  • Experience in Digital Asset markets.
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ambitious, result-oriented, with a strong initiative and ability to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to align with our values: teamwork, integrity, profitability, and innovation.
