At West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Officer to drive strategic initiatives and support our organization's growth. This role will focus on event operation support, procurement or policy support, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and executing business development events, including workshops, conferences, and networking sessions;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and operations;
  • Monitoring and evaluating event effectiveness, providing insights for future improvements;

Event Operation Support is crucial in delivering high-quality events that meet the expectations of our stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning and executing business development events, including workshops, conferences, and networking sessions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and operations is also essential. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate event effectiveness, providing insights for future improvements.

Procurement or Policy Support requires strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information. You will assist in the procurement process for business development initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Developing and implementing policies that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives is also vital. Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts is an additional responsibility.

Support on New Initiatives and Strategic Planning involves receiving guidance from management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational objectives. Analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making is crucial. Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate strategic initiatives and progress is also necessary.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, event management, or strategic planning is required. A proven track record in supporting successful events and managing procurement processes is essential. Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also necessary.
