The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Visitor Services Operations Manager. This fixed-term contract position of 2 years offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of M+, one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world.
As a key member of our Visitor Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of designated venues, including event flows, safety, cleanliness, and staff management. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a seamless visitor experience and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in leading the team to achieve M+ standards, KPIs, and compliance with institution safety guidelines.
- Oversee venue operations, including managing events, maintaining cleanliness, and supervising staff.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for frontline operations, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set up ticketing systems and address issues related to ticket sales.
- Manage venue hire requests and work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless visitor experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the hospitality sector or a similar industry.
- Demonstrated front-of-house or customer-facing operations experience, preferably in sizable venues.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with good relationship management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and messages.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to duty rosters.
