Business Development Role Overview

CQG, Inc. is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our business development efforts in the Asia Pacific region.

This mid-senior level position requires a strong understanding of the financial markets industry and excellent relationship management skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional heads to identify and execute new sales opportunities and upsell initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to develop strategic relationships with banks, Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), corporations, and proprietary trading firms.
  • Deliver engaging platform presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and proactively identify opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Work with regional sales leadership to develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase brand exposure in the derivatives market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business structures and operational needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales and relationship management within the financial technology sector, particularly across Greater China/APAC.
  • Solid knowledge in futures and commodities trading.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage a diverse range of customer profiles.
  • Excellent customer service and client-facing skills.
