Main Responsibilities

The General Business Sales Executive (GBSE) is responsible for driving sales engagements in the General Business (GB) segment. This role will focus on a specific industry and collaborate with Partner Management and Line of Business (LoB) Sales to achieve business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Align with Partner Business Managers (PBMs) on Partner Business Planning for the territory covered, identifying opportunities for growth and collaborating with other GPO sales areas.
  • Responsible for creating, monitoring, and reviewing business development activities around the solution- or industry-specialization area, defining innovative approaches to generate business, and executing directly or via partner-sales teams.
  • Coaches partner sales reps to interact with prospects in large or complex software deals, positioning the value of the respective software or industry solution, and ensuring high conversion rates from pipeline to deal closure.
  • Drives deal closure by inserting themselves in big and complex opportunities of assigned partners, balancing direct and indirect activities to maximize revenue in the assigned territory.
  • Enables partners to independently drive business with resources such as partner demand generation plans, competency plans, resource utilization plans, and presales coaching plans.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • At least 5 years of software selling experience, with a good track record of software sales and experience with cloud solutions being a definite advantage
  • Independent problem-solving skills, able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
