Talent Acquisition Lead, Hong Kong

About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Lead, Hong Kong & Taiwan, will be the primary point of contact for Chubb's recruitment activities across the Asia Office & Taiwan cluster. Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, APAC, the successful candidate will partner with the Head of HR, Hong Kong & Taiwan, to develop hiring strategies and lead employment branding initiatives, as well as identify, attract, assess and hire exceptional talent for Chubb in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies for each role as they arise, including the implementation of proactive marketing, pipelining and sourcing strategies, enabling a proactive approach to recruitment, looking beyond immediate needs.
- End-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing and reference checks, with a particular focus on senior / executive level roles.
- Direct sourcing of candidates using professional networks and tools.
- Source, screen and assess competence of candidates against job specifications. Work closely with the recruiting line managers and HR Business Partners to move to offer and onboarding.
- Business Partnering / strategic collaboration with the business to achieve goals and KPI's set within Chubb's Talent Acquisition team(s).
- Identify and resolve escalated / and potential issues. Follow up on any resolutions required.
- Be resourceful and hands-on in problem solving. Remove blockers and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide continuous feedback to colleagues and management team.
- Anticipate problems and serve as a guardrail. Be an advisor and take the lead.
- Review current processes and vendor panel. Ensure best in class practices and set clear plans to achieve this.
- Manage a portfolio of recruitment BAU (end to end, full lifecycle), projects, training, reporting and UAT.
- Build a strong knowledge of the key talent in the market, build market intelligence and gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Chubb's competitors.
- Foster relationships with key partners, internal stakeholders and industry experts.
- At least 10-12 years of end-to-end corporate recruitment experience, ideally with prior Insurance exposure in-house or within a recruitment agency.
- Exceptional stakeholder management ability, prior experience with managing senior stakeholders is important.
- Experience working in a complex matrix structure within a fast-paced environment.
- Prior regional management/supervisory experience to colleagues remotely is desirable.
- A drive to do your best work and have a great time doing it.
- Mandarin / English language skills are a must, with Cantonese beneficial.
