Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Claims Officer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling personal line claims focusing on Travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, resolve, and finalize claims within authority limits, ensuring settlement at an optimum level.
- Provide technical support to the team and assist the Claims Manager in managerial tasks.
- Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim.
- Comply with customer protocols and service charter.
Requirements
- 5 years or above experience in Travel and Personal Lines claims.
- Experience in travel and/or Retail Property claims with good customer service skills.
- Recognised industry standard (e.g. Senior Associate of ANZIIF) and technical knowledge of products and services.
- Good technical claims handling knowledge in claims handling, preferably travel claims.
- Understanding of local legislation and legal liability, industry standards, and protocol.
- Data analytical skills and ability to articulate how to prioritise and work to deadlines.
