About the Department

The Technology and Operations division is composed of five specialized teams that focus on business partnership, technology integration, operational excellence, risk governance, and planning support services. Our collaborative approach leverages technology to enhance both our physical and digital banking services, ensuring streamlined operations across our branches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the processes related to loan disbursement, repayment, rollover, and interest rate adjustments, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
  • Monitor liquidity requirements and manage fund flows effectively.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the loan cycle across various products, implementing continuous improvements in daily loan administration.
  • Prepare and manage the distribution of fees, interest, or principal payments, acting as the paying bank for syndicated agency loans.
  • Lead and mentor the team to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Guide team members in achieving departmental objectives and fulfilling their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines related to banking operations.
  • Report any exceptional or suspicious transactions to the appropriate authorities for further action.
  • Support new initiatives and act as a coordinator for designated projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Practical experience in loan operations, including syndicated and bilateral loans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications; knowledge of VBA is an advantage.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
