Position OverviewSenior Vice President / First Vice President, IT Audit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain robust relationships with stakeholders, including management, regulatory bodies, and external auditors, to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of technology-related risks in the financial services sector.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of IT risks and controls to assist the Chief Internal Auditor in formulating a risk-based Annual Audit Plan.
  • Lead and manage audits pertaining to IT operations, infrastructure, development, risk management (emphasizing IT security, Cybersecurity, and Fintech), and adherence to regulatory standards within the designated audit portfolio.
  • Execute specialized reviews and investigations as instructed by the Chief Internal Auditor or senior management and the Audit Committee.
  • Provide expert advisory services on technology risk management to business and operational management for significant systems, products, and unique projects.
  • Facilitate coaching and knowledge transfer to audit team members to enhance their competencies, expertise, and the overall effectiveness of the audit function.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a university degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines, along with relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 12 years of substantial experience in information technology audit within the banking sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various computing and database platforms (e.g., MS Windows, Unix/AIX, AS/400, SQL, Oracle, etc.), network security, System Development Life Cycle, and project management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cyber Resilience Assessment Framework requirements.
  • Able to work independently, manage a small audit team, and effectively engage with diverse levels of management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong supervisory and mentoring capabilities to develop and enhance audit staff.
  • Experience in developing Computer-Aided Audit Tools.
