Position Overview

The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with major retail partners and stakeholders. This position is essential for driving sales growth and enhancing market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with retail partners and suppliers to devise and execute effective sales and marketing strategies aimed at achieving organizational objectives, including sales targets, gross margin, and volume.
  • Generate sales forecasts and develop actionable plans to ensure targets are met.
  • Assess the effectiveness of promotional activities and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee sales initiatives, promotional events, and product displays within retail environments.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive proposals to business partners.
  • Conduct demand forecasting to align with market needs.
  • Manage revenue streams to enhance the efficiency of trade expenditures.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales or Key Account Management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple accounts and projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience in leading a team focused on Key Accounts.
  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Self-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience interacting with senior management and navigating the tendering process.
  • Demonstrated success in account management and acquiring new clients.
  • In-depth understanding of trade dynamics and category performance metrics.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (including Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
