Job DescriptionThis Assistant Claims Manager position is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our claims department. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising subordinates to process insurance claims efficiently, minimizing risks, and fostering strong client relationships.
Main Accountabilities:
- Direct and supervise subordinates to handle insurance claims with speed and accuracy.
- Effectively manage and coordinate litigation and direct settlement cases.
- Establish open channels of communication with clients to keep them informed about their claims status.
- Develop and implement bespoke training programs for the Claims Team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Support the Claims Manager in generating management reports and statistical analysis for review purposes.
- Undertake various projects as assigned by the Claims Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree holder with relevant professional certifications such as ANZIIF/ACII.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in processing insurance claims, preferably in EC and casualty cases; supervisory and management experience is required.
- Relevant legal knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, and fluency in Mandarin.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong career aspirations, self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
