Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Claims Manager to join our team at Chevalier Group. As a key member of the claims department, you will be responsible for managing and supervising subordinates to handle insurance claims, ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of claims handlers to ensure efficient and effective claim resolution.
  • Handle and manage litigation and direct settlement cases, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement training programs for the Claims Team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Assist the Claims Manager in preparing management reports and statistics for review by senior management.
Requirements
  • Degree holder with professional qualifications such as ANZIIF/ACII.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in handling insurance claims, preferably in EC and casualty cases; supervisory and management experience is required.
  • Possess relevant legal knowledge, which will be an advantage.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English, with fluency in Mandarin.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong career-minded individual with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
