Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Distribution Compensation, Asia to join our team at Sun Life. As a key member of our compensation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies that drive business growth and improve customer and advisor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital-based agency compensation models that improve customer and advisor experience while enabling data analytics to learn and develop predictive models leading to higher productivity and sales.
- Work with BU and RO IT teams to deliver agreed strategic imperatives, including end-to-end leads management and sales management platform, real-time management dashboard, and next-generation advisory model.
- Lead tech build of next-generation advisory model and subject matter expert to support distribution M&A and strategic reviews.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience in banking and insurance industries.
- Prior experience in working on compensation.
- Deep knowledge of compensation and strong financial awareness in sales performance and financial metrics to deliver growth.
Preferred Skills
- Strong finance/numeric skills to understand how to build dynamic compensation models.
- Prior experience in insurance compensation and proven track record of working on compensation across agency, bancassurance, broker.
- Product pricing experience beneficial.
- Key contact point between distribution channels and finance, data analytics with ability to work across functional and/or matrix type structures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to understand the complexity in organization structure and culture in various countries and to handle the communication and issues in appropriate manners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree holder in commerce or finance related.
