We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administration Specialist to join our HR Services Centre team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

About the Role

As a key member of our HR Services Centre, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll lifecycle, including salary calculations, final payments, taxation, pension contributions, leave management, and benefits administration. Your expertise will ensure seamless payroll processing, compliance with statutory requirements, and exceptional support to employees.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the payroll lifecycle, including salary calculations, final payments, taxation, pension contributions, leave management, and benefits administration.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly reports, analyzing data to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Participate in UAT for HRMS enhancements and collaborate closely with IT/vendors for maintenance.
  • Act as administrator for Rental Reimbursement Scheme, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to employees on payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and assigned assignments efficiently.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
  • At least 1 year of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a sizeable company or banking industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight schedules.
  • General knowledge of HK Labour Ordinance and other HR-related regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong sense of responsibility and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing.
  • Bonus points for knowledge of Peoplesoft.
  • Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates may be considered for Assistant Human Resources Manager role.
Working Conditions
