Presales Manager

Our client is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager with a strong background in machinery, particularly in coffee and vending machines. This position is essential for uncovering new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships through strategic insights and market knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Gain a thorough understanding of the coffee and vending machine sectors, identifying trends and customer needs to propose innovative business strategies that drive growth.
- Opportunity Exploration: Identify and assess new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company's goals.
- Strategic Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that targets key markets and outlines actionable milestones.
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with teams to establish competitive pricing and commercial terms that enhance profitability.
- Customer Relationship Management: Partner with the sales team to cultivate strong relationships with customers at all levels, conducting regular reviews to evaluate performance and explore new opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Project Management, Engineering, and Sales, to ensure the successful execution of business initiatives.
- Sales Enablement: Support sales efforts to achieve and surpass annual targets, ensuring effective coordination among regional teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in B2B roles within companies generating over $200M in revenue, ideally in the machinery industry.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of English is essential; fluency in Chinese is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Relevant experience in business development with a solid understanding of coffee or vending machines.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop effective business strategies, particularly in emerging markets.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities are crucial.
- Leadership and Management: Proven leadership skills with a track record of successful project management and problem-solving capabilities across diverse teams and cultures.
