Overview:

Shiseido Travel Retail Asia Pacific is looking for a Education Assistant Manager.

The Education Assistant Manager, based in HK, is responsible for driving and executing the education strategies , of the  CLÉ DE PEAU BEAUTÉ [CPB] & THE GINZA [TGB]  , through the development and delivery of consumer-centric retail training for our travel retail Personal Beauty Specialists [PBS], Beauty Consultants [BCs], promoters, and generic staff [GS] of our operators in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Training and Development:

  • Executes the brands’ education strategies and retail training plans that have been developed in support of marketing launches/events and sales strategies.
  • Conducts classroom and virtual classroom training programs that focus on outstanding customer experience delivery, brand services, product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Supports the customization, translation and validation, preparation of training materials in accordance with brand guidelines to suit the TR environment.
  • Develops, implements and follows up on innovative retail education initiatives and projects including eLearning content development.
  • Works with the Education Senior Manager andTGB brand education lead to evaluate training initiatives, analyze services & retail reports to make recommendations for improvement. Provides updates, develops and executes follow-up action plans.
  • Ensures all training and traveling expenses are within budget and costs are optimized, as well as ensures compliance with all FIN, Demand Planning & Legal requirements, and processes.

 

Coaching to Drive Retail Excellence:

  • Together with the Retail Managers, develop and lead the execution of personalized coaching and follow-up activities that elevate and build PBS' & BCs’ capabilities to ensure transfer of learning and consistency of service delivery to achieve business goals via retail excellence.

 

Events and Live Streaming:

  • Collaborates with Digital Marketing, Marketing, Commercial and retailers’ teams in planning and executing brand events, consumer workshops and livestreaming [LS] activities.
  • Supports Team in event operations including crafting livestream dialogue, product training of LS hosts/KOLs/co-hosts and Promoter teams.
  • Ensures key PBS & BCs are equipped with livestreaming skills and knowledge, provide support and coaching as needed.

 

Operations & Administration:

  • Responsible for all coordination and administrative work around training sessions including liaising directly with operators, training setup / materials / collaterals / testers and training gifts inventory upkeep, and uniforms.
  • Establishes and maintains brands’ grooming standards and ensures BCs’ adherence to the Brands’ image and guidelines.
  • Supports in the organization of and training facilitation at annual BC conference & Boot Camp.
  • Submits all training reports as required on a timely basis.
  • Provides input to Sales team regarding reward and incentive plans for PBS & BCs and supports PBS' BCs’ motivation/incentive programs and activities.
  • Provides feedback on events, product assortment, merchandising and stocks.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline.
  • Strong coaching, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as beauty trainer or in a related industry is preferred.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin [Putonghua] is required, for classroom/event presentations and supporting translation of materials into both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
  • Experience with livestreaming is an advantage.
  • Analytical skills and capacity to identify opportunities and propose action plans.
  • Independent, open-minded, dynamic, and a team player with a passion for education.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and attentive to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Frequent travelling is required.
