The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 1963, the CUHK Business School has gained world recognition of nurturing business leaders with immense contributions in the Asia Pacific. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (MBA, MSc, MAcc, EMBA, MPhil, PhD) with over 4,600 students from 20+ countries/regions, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 40,000 alumni around the world.
Among all the Master’s degree programmes offered by the School, the full-time MBA is a highly selective programme and is ranked globally. The students are an internationally diverse group of highly motivated professionals. The part-time MBA programme caters to the needs of working professionals in Hong Kong and southern China whose needs are centred on leadership development.
Reporting to the Administrative Director of MBA Programme Office or her/his designate, the appointee will primarily engage in student learning and development activities to (a) administer academic content process, including operating and delivering of face-to-face, online or mixed mode of courses, co-curricular activities as well as workshops; (b) work closely with Faculty members to plan and support seamless course delivery, assurance of learning process, and bridge communication with students; (c) assist in and support the programme committee to review and update curriculum plans; (d) plan, deliver and support all co-curricular activities, including exchanges, ceremonial events, company/alumni talks, study trips and other such projects as assigned; (e) act as first line of contact with MBA students and student committee members, provide support to students in their learning journey, as well as facilitate cultivation of strong class bonding and student life engagement to enrich students’ MBA journey; (f) plan and execute student events and co-curricular activities, and co-ordinate with internal and external parties as necessary; (g) collaborate with other team members in the MBA Programme Office and faculty members to strengthen students’ journey at CUHK MBA; and (h) perform other impromptu duties as may be required from time to time by the MBA Programme Office. Flexible working hours are expected and occasional travelling for business purposes may be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: ; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in operation of programme management and student management in the tertiary education sector; (iv) the ability to listen and communicate effectively, and to maintain positive rapport with a diverse group of high-performing students, and to support them in their learning journey; (v) good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact and form positive relationships with students, faculty members, internal and external stakeholders; (vi) excellent written and verbal communication in English, and a good command of Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua); and (vii) project management skills to organise, plan and deliver student events effectively. Familiarity with digital communication and social media will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
