HSBC is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager Brand Strategy & Programmes. This role will support the development and implementation of different brand programmes in the region in line with the brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Geographical Remit across all markets in the ASP region
- Accountable to the Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy & Programmes (ASP)
- Responsible for each of the lines business in the ASP region in achieving their vision and objectives through Marketing activity
- Deliver this through unlocking market opportunities through insights, Marketing science, data and analytics, creativity and innovation
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy & Programmes to develop and implement various brand programmes in the region in line with the brand strategy
- Working closely with business and Marketing partners, assist on forming brand Strategy by contributing to competitive analysis, brand audits, brand articulation design concept, visual identity and guidelines development etc.
- Providing insights and proactive recommendations on market research, industry analysis and trend forecasts
- Work with local markets to drive local in country brand programmes ensuring fit with Group brand positioning and purpose
- Support XLOB collaboration on different brand activities to drive a consistent brand message across HSBC
- Support in producing and amplifying brand content for paid and owned channels in collaboration with Group brand and Communications team
- Work with other teams to unearth relevant and topical insights to inform content development and Strategy
- Work with agency partners to create compelling, brand and business stories
- Modern Marketing professional with understanding of latest developments in the marketing and media world
- Have depth of both classical and contemporary channels
- Have a penchant for learning
- Understand the use of data and analytics in deriving customer value
- Be passionate about the customer and be obsessed with customer outcomes
- Degree level qualification in marketing and/or business studies preferred
- Strong communicator with excellent command of spoken and written English
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with relevant exposure to brand and planning (either in house or agency side)
- Can demonstrate an ability to develop high-quality, award-winning marketing communications and an inherent understanding of brand and its impact across all channels and audiences
- Understanding the branding business, which includes brand tracking, equity and brand programme performance and optimization
- Good understanding of technology developments and emerging consumer and industry trends
- Can demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
- Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
- Experience of working with teams over multiple sites and geographies
- Ability to distil complex business and customer environment into simple, strategically sound and insight led stories
