As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the custody operation, including settlement and clearing, corporate actions, FX cash management, and reporting. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all services delivered are in compliance with current legislative and regulatory requirements and the Bank's operational risk guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the custody operation, including settlement and clearing, corporate actions, FX cash management, and reporting.
- Evaluate and propose solutions on client requirements from operation and system perspectives.
- Drive operational changes and system enhancements to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Ensure that all services delivered are in compliance with current legislative and regulatory requirements and the Bank's operational risk guidelines.
- Participate in UAT tests and other ad-hoc projects.
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3-5 years of experience with custody business.
- Overall understanding and knowledge of various markets and investment instruments, as well as their related operating modes, clearing and settlement procedures, laws and regulations, commonly-used SWIFT formats, etc.
- Familiar with different markets and operating requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills to work with the team.
- Independent in thinking, arranging work, and dealing with business partners or service providers; flexible and client-oriented in rendering client-fronting services.
- Meticulous with details; diligent and efficient in follow-through.
- Able to work effectively under pressure arisen from workload and time constraints.
- Sensitive about international market developments and industry initiatives.
