Global Custody Operations Manager II

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Global Custody Operations team as a Custody Client Services Manager in Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for leading a team of client-facing direct reports, managing complex client accounts, and ensuring excellent client service delivery.
About the RoleThis is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days of office work per week. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing people, with prior experience in Client Services Management and Global Markets. Extensive knowledge of asset servicing, particularly in Corporate Actions and Income, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of up to 12 client-facing direct reports, focusing on delivering excellent client service and meeting service level agreements.
- Support multiple, complex client accounts on day-to-day Custody queries, covering Settlements, Corporate Actions & Income, FX, Cash, Class Actions, and Proxy-related issues.
- Apply advanced problem-solving skills, judgment, and experience to analyze information, understand client needs, and support clients in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues.
- Resolve complex client challenges by working with various Operational teams to provide optimal client service.
- Contribute to business development efforts, working with appropriate resources at BNY to address client needs.
- Participate in client service reviews and internal projects or process improvements.
- Foster deep partnerships with Operational teams through regular engagement, raising clients' concerns or gaps with internal stakeholders and management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing people, with prior experience in Client Services Management and Global Markets.
- Extensive knowledge of asset servicing, particularly in Corporate Actions and Income.
- Proven success in managing a client service team, working to short deadlines, and meeting client demands.
