About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asia Pacific Custody Portfolio Manager Director to join our team in APAC. As a key member of our Global Product organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our custody products and services in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Securities Services/Global Custody, with 10+ years of experience in roles such as product management, operations, or technology. You will be responsible for developing and executing the custody product strategy, working closely with the Head of APAC Custody Product Management, and collaborating with internal stakeholders across Global Delivery, Sales, Client Management, and Technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting product definitions and standards for Global Custody products
  • Providing domain expertise in the day-to-day running of the business
  • Partnering with the Chief Commercial Officer organization to drive revenue through direct client engagement and pitches
  • Participating in industry groups across the region to drive market leadership and change

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Subject matter expertise of the Custody family of products: Global Custody, Direct Custody, and associated FX and Cash products
  • A track record of engagement with complex clients, solutioning operating models, and translating requirements into feature function capability for State Street platforms
  • Strong team player skills, comfortable working across complex organizations, and collaborating with partners
  • A working knowledge of technology, market infrastructures, and industry partners that support the global custody chain
  • Effective understanding of operational processes across all aspects of Global Custody
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within an organization
  • Excellent client management skills and the ability to engage at all levels
  • Ability to execute on product deliverables and strategic vision
