Pricing Strategy ProjectYou will spearhead a project focused on developing a pricing strategy for the spot market of Industrial Petrochemicals in South China by studying the behavior of competitors and assessing its impact on market prices.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends.
- Analyze data to identify key drivers of market prices and develop a pricing strategy that aligns with business objectives.
You will assess market information and future trends to develop segment roadmaps for the Asia Pacific region under the mentorship of the Regional Marketing Director.
- Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities and challenges for the Asia Pacific region.
- Develop segment roadmaps that align with business objectives and support the growth of the Asia Pacific region.
You will present project recommendations to the BASF senior leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in marketing and develop skills in project management, data analysis, and presentation.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- A commitment to 3-6 months full-time internship from July 2024.
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
- Previous project experience or exposure to the chemical industry is a plus point.
- Any experience in commodity trading would be preferred.
- Proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
