Job Description:Sourcing Manager - Asia Pacific
  • Manage relationships with internal clients and vendors across the Asia Pacific region to ensure timely delivery of goods and services at optimal costs.

Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will develop and execute supply strategies for various categories, focusing on Professional Services, Marketing, Advertising & News, Media, Travel, and Bloomberg On-Site Services.


Responsibilities:
  • Determine specifications and requirements for products and services through communication with internal stakeholders and the department's strategic plan.
  • Lead sourcing opportunities, including RFPs, direct negotiations, etc., and utilize market research from internal and external sources to drive sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and thresholds set by the Chief Procurement Officer.
  • Negotiate and implement contractual agreements in partnership with internal customers and the Legal department.
  • Manage the vendor base to ensure compliance and financial efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Sourcing Team to review and refine Strategic Plans to better serve the company as a whole.
  • Build lasting relationships with internal clients and vendors.
  • Provide support to the team to maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing with strong category exposure to Professional Services, Marketing, Advertising & Media, and Travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience in complex commercial and contractual negotiations, competitive market analysis, and ongoing supplier performance management.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and applicable legislation.
  • Firm decision-making ability and effective interaction skills within cross-functional environments.
  • Business-level proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Estimated Salary Range: HKD $600,000 - HKD $900,000 per annum

The estimated salary range is based on industry standards, job responsibilities, and location.
