The Petrochemicals division offers a broad portfolio of high-quality basic chemicals and specialties tailored to internal and external customers. As part of the Industrial Petrochemicals Business Management team, you will be directly reporting to and coaching by Regional Marketing Director, Industrial Petrochemicals, Petrochemicals Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a pricing strategy for the spot market of Industrial Petrochemicals in South China by studying competitor behavior and assessing market prices.
- Assessing market information and future trends to develop segment roadmaps for the Asia Pacific region under the mentorship of Regional Marketing Director.
- Presenting project recommendations to BASF senior leadership team.
Requirements include:
- Commitment to a 3 to 6 months full-time internship from July 2024.
- Students of Master's Degree, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Previous project experience or exposure to the chemical industry is a plus point.
- Proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
